The philosophy of St. James Co-op Preschool is to provide members of the community and their families with an opportunity to be involved in a non-profit and non-sectarian, pre-school program.

• To promote social, physical, emotional, and intellectual growth at a level that is appropriate to each individual child’s development.
• To encourage a natural sense of curiosity and knowledge through peer interaction and play.
• To encourage each child to participate in both group and individual tasks and activities.
