This non-duty kindergarten alternative is for kids ages 4 & 5. Students can enroll in the full-day program on Mondays from 9:00am-2:30pm.
There are 26 letters of the alphabet.
Making 44 different sounds.
5 vowels and 1 want-a-be vowel.
And 9 Different strokes of the pencil that can create these letters.
Using print tactics, visual, auditory and sensory clues we will be deciphering and mysteries of phonetics to understand and put into practice the fundamentals of primary reading and printing skills. We will also be discovering word meaning through numeracy and scientific experiments.
Modern technology and a “Handwriting Without Tears” print style format are at our disposal for effective learning.
Children bring their own lunch.
Non-duty class. Parent involvement is not required.
